Hi there mailing list!  I just wanted to let you know that there's another big/medium-sized show coming up next week at Uncommon Ground.  It's medium-sized because I remain of average height and girth.  It's big because I'll be playing with/after Gordon Wright of "Fooled By April" fame.  This is his first show since moving to Chicago so I hope y'all come out and make him feel welcome. 

In addition, I'll be donating all the money collected from my portion of the evening to an organization I work with called Engineers Without Borders.  We're a bunch of nerds who go and build bridges, wells, and other engineering projects in developing communities.  We're in the midst of our fall fundraising campaign so I figure I'd use the captive audience to raise some money for a good cause.  For more info on Engineers Without Borders, visit our website: http://www.ewb-chicago.org/.  Don't worry, I'll be blabbing about it more (but not much more) on Tuesday night.
