I want to export the ZPL file (the one which starts with ^XA) of a given label on Zebradesigner but I can't manage to find any option to do so.I already looked for a similar question on stackoverflow and I saw a post that seemed to resolve the problem:get ZPL Code From zebra designer?
There is a print to file checkbox when you print AND you must have a zebra printer driver that would have expected ZPL in order to get this to work right. Then the prn file that is saved will have ZPL that can be sent to a printer. There may be some additional configuration before the first ^XA in the file.
I am still learning zpl. I have created some simple labels using the Zebra designer and converted them to zpl files and added to printers. Now, I have been tasked to update existing labels for some of our customers and I do not have the file available in the designer. I have been successfully been able to do things like update a barcode type and add a field by directly updating the script. But, the changes the users want would be much easier if I could use designer (I know that is like cheating!). But, the timeline I have is short. I have found some older questions out there that say this is not possible, so I thought I would check to see if it may now be possible to use the script on the zebra printer, and convert it to text that the designer will recognize.
The next step was to use NI Visa Driver Wizard to identify the zebra USB printer which was already plugged in with its Zebra windows drivers installed. Using the wizard you get the product ID and vendor ID for the printer and can let then the wizard create a driver for you.
2) I cannot print from the iPad through the zebra set up utilities app. It is not working and the Bluetooth connectivity is not very strong. How do I reliably connect square apple and the ZD410 for these barcodes?
