Last month's total was:  523

This month we lost 14 and had 8 new with the report showing a total of 536.  (This balances with the Life + Annual = 536)

My math is: 523 - 14 + 8 = 517

Why the difference?

Also, we had $1,400 in Annual Dues.  That does not quite fit with the 8 new members.  (I had previously asked for a breakdown of this amount so it might be redundant, but the reason is different.)
