MANY people have asked me about using Home Phones on NBN.

Finding out is a problem. Even Info from ISP Tec's can be wrong.

Telstra (and Foxtel) use Phone1 and Phone2 ports on the NBN provided box and the

phones can be the normal analog phones.

Not sure about Optus. Others require VoIP phones or adapters.

The cheapest solution if an Optus tower is accessible is a Southern Phone Onix -

unlimited talk and text for $10 a month.
