Hello guys!

There will be a big Classics-only tournament in Bors (outside of
Gothenburg) on 25-27/2 next year. It's AFAIK the first Classics-only
tournament in Sweden ever.

Since there is no Classics division at this year's EPC, the organizers
asked me if they could raise their tournament to EPC status, as a Classics
side event.

I haven't set my own opinion on the matter yet, but I promised to at least
forward the question to you guys. On the bright side we've got that we
will get an EPC Classics division this year too, and the more tournaments
the merrier. On the dark side is that it's a bit close in time, and it's
far away from France.

I don't know what the WPPR implications will be. Would a Classics-only
tournament get full WPPR points? As an EPC Classics side event, I guess it
would get 50% reduces WPPR points?

Anyway, give me your best arguments, both pros and cons, so I can set my
personal opinion, and so that we together can come to some sort of
decision.

Regards
/P

Hello!

I talked to the organizers, and they're happy with just using the name,
and thus making sure there will be a EPC Classics, although as a separate
event.

I'm still refraining from giving my own opinion on this, partly because I
haven't decided what I think about it, and partly because I'm Swedish and
as such could be biased.

But I'd like some more voices on Olli-Mikkos suggestion. What do you
others think about it?

Regards
/P

Hi all,

We're all OK at Silverball for you to use the name "European classics
pinball championship 2011", since it has no impact on EPC 2011 WPPR
points.

Sorry for the lateness, I was far from home and very busy at work.
