If you are as confused by the time zones as we are, then check out
http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/ or http://www.timezoneconverter.com/cgi-bin/tzc.tzc
I'd advise everyone to be wary of the timezones issue.
I've tried and failed in two different approaches to getting this into
my Google Calendar, neither of which appear to work (entirely)
correctly.
1) from here http://www.virtualaltnet.com/Home/Calendar if I try to
click on an event and select 'copy to my calendar' then it adds the
event with the same time of day without adjusting it for my local (UK)
time.
2) if I link the entire calendar to my own then some local time
converstion appears to happen (the bown bag meetings are now at 6pm)
BUT the James Gregory event shows as 6pm UK time which is off by an
hour (unless I'm mistaken).
Can anyone advise an approach that works reliably?
Many Thanks,
Rohan
