Why can you not download a CV template in MS Word to work offline?

Thank you for your post.

The offline Word template was phased out for various reasons, including:

 

-          difficulties reported by users to keep the layout of the Word template;

-          impossibility to update a Word CV online;

-          better user-friendliness of the online tool (hints, attach documents, cover letter, etc.).

 

The decision was taken with the full support of national Europass centres, who received also complaints from users and employers.

If you still wish to have an offline template to work with, you can download your CV in Word format from the Europass online editor.
