The following event takes place on three different dates in three different locations:

Eurocircle is pleased to announce the return of Jean-Jacques Bernard to Philadelphia with a series of gallery openings showcasing his latest photographic expeditions.

Bernards talent for finding the extraordinary in every-day life has taken him on a journey across the globe to such exotic locales as Togo, Damascus and Ho Chi Minh City. He returns to Philadelphia this summer to present his latest portfolio of shots from locations such as Dubai and Ulan Bator.

Ulan Bator Blues captures the rich colors of Mongolias capital known as the ugliest city in the world. And yet, despite its reputation, the city comes alive in front of Bernards lens and shows you its charming side. This collection will be shown at Bus Stop Boutique, 750 South 4th Street, Philadelphia on August 27 at 5pm.

Air Conditioned is a collection centered around the global perspective of the urban landscape. Cluttered with street signs, posts, and people, the collection is multifaceted, complex and paradoxical. View the collection at Vintage Wine Bar, 129 South 13th Street, Philadelphia on August 31st at 6pm.

Dubai Mirage is a story about a city filled with boundaries of reality. This is a city Bernard perceives and interprets in his own way and we will view the collection at Margot & Camille Optique, 142 North 2nd Street on September 4th at 5pm.

Jean-Jacques Bernards work has most recently been on exhibit in the Palace of Justice in Lyon. His photography was shown in the House of China and Orient in Paris. Recently, he was nominated for the 2010 Zooms Next Salon de la Photo in Paris. He refers to himself as a child of the advertising age and he tends to correlate writing and photography as they draw parallels to one another.
