Since 2003, Twenty-Two Gallery has been showing local and national, emerging and established artist嚙編 work. The gallery represents 22 artist members who work in many mediums including oil, pastel, watercolor, photography, sculpture, various printing processes as well as mixed media. This bright space with great light, nestled in Philadelphia嚙編 Rittenhouse Square, will give us a personal introduction to some of the area's most talented artists.
Gallery owner Shawn Murray will introduce us to the works of his grandfather Bruce Murray, Sr., (1893-1969) who had captured amazing images of sports legends, historical figures and Americana. The gallery嚙編 photographic archive covers over 50 years, spanning decades of fine art black & white original photography.
In addition , "22 Artists in the Open"- a member group show of landscapes will coincide with "Art in the Open Philadelphia," (AiO) an inaugural plein air art event along the Schuylkill River Banks. Twenty-two artists will display their landscapes in various mediums at the gallery.
We will meet some of the area嚙編 more prominent artists who will share their vision, passion and inspiration with Eurocircle members.
Wine & Cheese Reception. $20 pp if paid prior to June 15th. $25 pp after June 9th or at the door.
