IFLRY turns 70!
Although our roots date back to the 1920s, IFLRY was officially founded in 1947. This means we are turning 70 this year! We are excited to celebrate 70 years of liberal history with you, through online updates, as well as during our General Assembly.
If you have any ideas, photos or videos you want to share with us, or if you are interested in helping out, please contact tone.b...@iflry.org.
Become part of the IFLRY Delegation to the Liberal International (LI) Congress
Between 18 and 20 May the 70th anniversary LI congress is bound to take place in Andorra. Global liberals will gather to discuss the 21st century liberal manifesto, elect the LI bureau and many other agenda points! The programme can be found here.
IFLRY is a full member of LI and as such can send a delegation. Besides bureau representatives, we will be able to accept 7 individuals to join the delegation. The costs for the congress are 190 British Pounds - this only includes congress participation. Unfortunately IFLRY is unable to further sponsor accommodation or travel costs. If you have questions or want to apply (motivation, previous involvement with IFLRY and ambition for the LI congress, approx. 300 words), contact pauline.k...@iflry.org before 1 May.
