IFLRY ISSUE #8
Use #iflryGA to join us in Kyiv this week!
Already, young liberals from all around the world are flying to Kyiv, Ukraine. Why? To join the 37th IFLRY General Assembly and Conference. IFLRY is ready to stand side by side with Ukraine in its struggle towards ensuring democracy, human rights, rule of law and freedom.
You can join us too this week. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest... Whatever you prefer, join in via #iflrykyiv for our just concluded seminar on youth autonomy and #iflryGA for our ongoing Conference and General Assembly. Also keep an eye on the next ISSUE which will be out soon on all the updates of the GA.
Since the last ISSUE we have, among others things, voiced our opinion in connection to the yearly international Democracy Day. Find our full statement here. We are also proud to report that IFLRY hosted the annual In Person Task Force meeting of the global network ICMYO. It underlines IFLRY's increasing important role in international youth policies.
The fall of 2014 will be a busy and very global fall. Keep an eye on this newsletter for more events coming up. For now we would just like to point out the opportunity to join IFLRY at the Liberal International Executive Committee in Hong Kong. Get in touch with us if you would like to be part of the IFLRY delegation.
Yours in liberalism,
Christian Scharling (President)
