This is an update to the previously entered post!
While trying to find a way to exclude Eureqa from using the power
operator on the function g(), I differed the input settings for the
Target Expression:
f0(S)+g/S*f1()
This seems to solve my problem for now. However any feedback on the
idea of a Blacklist is appreciated. Maybe it would be interesting to
feature different sets of building blocks for different functions.
Just an example: If the user enters n functions in the
Targetexpression, additional check boxes for building blocks become
available:
Name Function1 Function2 FunctionN
---------------- -------------- ------------- --------------
Substraction x x x
Multiplication x x x
Power x x o
....
However, I am not sure whether you want to screw with your well
designed GUI ;-)

Yeah we could definitely do different settings per function in the target expression. We've held back though since it complicates the UI slightly.
Another idea I had for your case to allow powers of S is to provide the power as an input, such as:
