Short answer: Sadly, w
e do not know how to recover damaged .fxp files created by 0.98.2. The 0.99 version should no longer create damaged fxp files.

Longer answer: in 0.98.2 (released July 1, 2013) we started compressing .fxp files using gzip in order to reduce their size on disk. For unknown reasons (and that we haven't been able to reproduce internally) sometimes the resulting compressed data wasn't written correctly resulting in a corrupted gzip file. In 0.99 we stopped writing compressed .fxp files on Macs.

Hope that helps,
Andrew

Hi Formulize, I’ve got a large project file that gives me xml parsing error after the update.

Other saved versions of the project also fail to open with this identical error.

The project file is around 151MB.

Any thoughts?
