My FCB1010 isn't saving presets; they disappear every time it's powered off. I'm considering whether replacing the EPROM is a good idea, but I need to be sure the old EPROM is the problem. Can anyone tell me if replacing the EPROM is the solution? Thanks!

You currently have a EurekaPROM installed?
There's a separate soldered-on serial EPROM where values are stored. If that wasn't working, I'd think every power-on would look like the very first. Does it power-on okay?

Nope, I have the factory EPROM installed. I bought the Eurekaprom in
the past, but the pedalboard wouldn't power up. And yes, it powers up
fine. But it's exactly as you told me, every time I do it, it's the
same as the first!

Hmm. That's not good. It's likely that the EurekaPROM didn't power on because it detected the malfunctioning serial EPROM on the board. If that serial EPROM doesn't work, then replacing the DIP EPROM won't help. Maybe see if Behringer can replace the pedal for you?

It'd be a challenge. You'd need soldering iron, and potentially a replacement serial eprom.
