Hi all,

A quick question on changing the cc# for the left expression pedal. the aim is to swap default cc#01 to cc#11 so to match the kemper morphing CC#11.

I have followed the steps a few times on the configuration PP page, it doesn't work for me. The left pedal still controlling cc#01.I used channel 01.

While the right expression pedal is default to CC#07, interestingly, it is still working when I changed it to different CC#, e.g. CC#8.

Am I missing something here?

Thanks
Austin

Are you using the EurekaPROM-enabled FCB1010 in the PA configuration with your Kemper? If so, the only options for the left expression pedal are set in SP mode, wah & pitch.

If you using the PP programmable configuration, then the expression pedal mod should work.

But changing the expression pedal in the PP configuration will not change the defaults in other configurations.

Hope that helps.

Thanks David for coming back on this one.

Confirming that I am using EurekaProm v.3 enabled FCB1010 in the PA configuration with my Kemper.

To clarify, in the PP programmable mode, I have updated the "EA" channel to 02 and CC to 11, which is the morph midi number specified in my kemper.

However, I am unable to control the morph using left expression pedal. I have tried this in all five modes, i.e. EF, PR, FP, SP & EP.

Are we saying that changing the PP programmable config. will not affect the default setting for the left expression pedal in the above-mentioned five modes? If so, could you please let me know the best way to amend the midi CC number for the left pedal if it's achievable?

Thanks
Austin

Right, changing the settings in the PP Programmable configuration ONLY affects the PP programmable configuration. So, you could use the PP Programmable configuration to control the Kemper if you really need the expression pedal to be that specific CC#, but you would miss out on a lot of the features that the PA configuration gives you.
