can't get rss feeds to work

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to test out ES on a ubuntu linux box. I'm using localhost, and I've tried both

http://localhost:8080 -Dbuild.web.grbaseurl=http://localhost:8080

and

http://localhost:8080 -Dbuild.web.grbaseurl=http://localhost:8081

on my maven build command line.

I get 'the server refused the connection' as an error on the rss feeds. I built with the

option -Dopenaccess-security also.

Can anyone tell me how to get the feeds to work?
