Dear all,

its been a while since the last update. I would like to share some news with you all today.

If you follow my blog at eurekabrewing.wordpress.com you may already now that I decided to discontinue publishing content on said blog due to lack of time. One reason for that is my most recent endeavour to open a brewery. We moved into our new location in June and are now in the last steps of getting operational. Our brewery (Blackwell Brewery) is located close to the beautiful Emmental valleys in Switzerland. We will put a focus on Farmhouse, Wild & Spontaneous fermented beers and work on embracing the local terroir into our beers to create something unique and delicious. Since we see zymurgy as the foundation of our brewery, I decided to transfer all my yeast strains and knowledge to the brewery.

However, since we believe there is still not enough yeast diversity available, we decided to package some of our most interesting yeast strains & blends on an irregular basis at homebrewer's pitch sizes (5 gal batches). And we just released our first product, a Brettanomyces strain isolated from a traditional German Berliner Weisse - BWY-001 Berliner Brett I. For more information go to our website at http://blackwellbrewery.ch/shop and the respective manual page at http://blackwellbrewery.ch/hefe

Yeasts go out to Switzerland for 2.50 CHF, Europe for 4.20 CHF (= approx. € 3.9) and to the rest of the world for 5.50 CHF (= approx. 5.70 USD). Please notice that we do not send out the yeasts with cooling pads & due to limited availability, only one package per order can be purchased. If you encounter any problems with the shop or the order, please let me know at order(at)blackwellbrewery.ch

If you have any favourite strains from the EBY collection and want to see them be released in the future, please let me know as well.

I will keep on sharing news concerning any upcoming yeast releases via this group and via the brewery's social media pages. If you want to get notified about news from our brewery, then either follow us on Facebook or Twitter.

Thank you all,
Sam
