I've setup a simple website for the CS Club for now, just so we have
something up. The address is http://www.eupcs.org . The site
definitely needs to be worked on, so feel free to get in touch with me
about helping out. The domain name is not set in stone, so if anybody
has any other ideas let me know.
I've also setup a mailing list so that it will be much easier for all
of us to communicate. The address for this list is li...@eupcs.org .
Any email that you send to that address will be sent to all of us
automatically. If you want to be added to the list there is a link to
subscribe on the website I mentioned above. There are also convenience
addresses setup so that you can send something to just the club
officers or advisors. See the website for that.
Just a little note on where this is going: I will keep control of the
website's domain name for now, and allow others access to the server
if they wish to work on the site. When I leave I will transfer the
domain to whoever wants it, and transfer over all data with it. The
mailing list is owned by me on Google Groups, and I will add
administrators to take that over when I leave, so that everything will
still be up and running for the foreseeable future.
