Software Quality Assurance Engineer
Education/Degree:
Bachelor degree in Software Engineering / Computer Science discipline or equivalent experience preferred
Qualifications & Experience:
5+ years experience in software testing Familiarity with Agile software practices Experience with requirements analysis, creating test plans, writing and maintaining regression tests Experience with feature-based acceptance testing Understanding of black/white/smoke testing Strong verbal and written communication skills Test automation experience is a plus Understanding of performance testing a plus Work in an integrated software/hardware environment a plus Work with API testing a plus Work with vendor integration testing a plus Familiarity with Git, Docker, Linux
Problem Solving - ability to identify patterns or connections between situations that are not obviously related, and able to identify key or underlying issues in complex situations. It involves using past professional or technical training and experience, creativity, inductive reasoning.
Agility - the extent to which the individual is able to navigate the various obstacles and challenges presented in a day in their area of expertise and push forward to achieve results.
