Job Title - EMC Test Engineer
Job Description - The performance of EMC TEMPEST tests on installations, systems and equipment by operation of test and exercising equipment.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform inspection and initial tests on installation systems and equipment prior to testing.

II Conduct and perform EMC/TEMPEST testing to a defined Test Plan, produce documentation related to testing in accordance with Control Procedures.

Ill. Draft documentation including Test Plans, Test Reports and Test Schedules.

IV.To provide advice and assistance to customers on engineering procedures, techniques and methods during the test process.

V. The manufacture of test aids, leads or equipment to meet testing requirements.

VI. Maintain an awareness of the test environment and advise a Senior Engineer should any aspect of equipment or facility compromise testing.
VII. Perform specific tasks, related to the activity of the Group, as required by a Senior Engineer.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
a)A minimum of three (3) years test and diagnostic experience in a test environment. This should include a minimum of one (1) year specific to EMC or TEMPEST.

b) A CESG Basic TEMPEST Testers Certificate when employed in TEMPEST.

c) A qualification commensurate with Member status of a recognised technical institution. A formal qualification, under BTEC scheme is desirable.
