Introduction

Hola,
I wanted to introduce myself.  I'm a second year masters student at the U of O focusing on networking and network security, mainly.  I'm quite new to Linux (using Ubuntu for the last year abouts).  I previously worked for Intel doing materials analysis and I have a strong physical sciences background.  I find there are things I like about linux, things I love about linux, and things that infuriate me about linux  :)

I have a lot of family demands (I grew up in this area and have kids of my own now) so I'm not sure how often I'll be able to get to meetings but we'll see how things go.
