Wednesday Bailonga: Traditional Night w. DJ Laura

After the huge success of last week's Jump Into Tango event, we get to celebrate with a second traditional night with DJ Laura!

This week also marks our shift to a different lesson structure: There will be a weekly From Zero class and a Continuing Beginner class, to build on beginner dancers' existing skills and transition them toward intermediate dancers.

Over the last year, we heard feedback from new dancers that once they had gone through our four rotating beginner classes, there wasn't an easy way for them to progress. Now, the continuing beginner class will extend past that set list of topics and adapt to the skill level of the dancers present at a given lesson. Experienced dancers are still encouraged to attend either of the beginner lessons to support new dancers!

Reminders:
  • Masking is not required but encouraged, and there will always be masks and hand sanitizer available at the front desk.
  • Due to recent thefts at the Vet’s Club and in the parking lot, it’s recommended that you keep your valuables close by. You’re welcome to store them by the stage or behind the divider for extra security.
  • No street shoes, please — they can damage the floor. Please bring clean non-marking footwear such as dance shoes or sneakers. Thanks!
  • A 30-minute desk shift gets you in for free! First come first served to sign up for shifts, but there are virtually always open slots available.
  • Please avoid fragrances/perfumes. Some of us are allergic. Thank you!
