A note on Bailonga's prices

For many years, Bailonga has needed all the financial support it could get. But now, I'm surprised to say that thanks to all that this community has invested, we have a type of financial flexibility we've never had before. Meanwhile, we are going through a time in the world where there are members of our community and other social dance communities who do need that support. 

So, starting next week, we are lowering the bottom of Bailonga's sliding scale. For at least six months, our new range will be from $5 to $10. We'll still offer free entrance for desk shifts but I know not everyone wants to take away from their limited dancing time.

 
We are also making it official that no one will be turned away due to lack of funds. So if you show up at our door and you only have $3, I would rather have you on this dance floor than stay home. And in case you hadn't heard, we are accepting digital payments now, through Paypal and Venmo.

 
My hope is that this shift will serve to reciprocate all that you have contributed to Bailonga, and that Bailonga can be a place where you leave having received more than you gave.
