Special Practica for the month of June…it’ll be a Women’s Practica
and a Men’s Practica!
Why? Well, why not?
But, we’ll first learn and practice the chacarera together. It’s not often danced in our community, and when Peter Esser played it in our last milonga, it reminded me there was such a thing! Anyhow, it’s fun, light-hearted and another facet to deepen our understanding of the Argentine culture. It’ll also be a great warmup for our practica, too!
Whatever time is left will be dedicated for Practica time! This is the opportunity to explore movement ideas and refine techniques. It’s also the perfect time to play with the “off-role” side.
Will the women stay with the women, and the men stay with the men? I’d like to see that happen and highly encourage it (because there are many wonderful benefits to it), but I’m not the tango police.
