Bailonga: 3-Hour Traditional Dance w/ Special Guests Olivia & Fernando
This week at Bailonga is a very special night of tango indeed! Olivia Teixeira and Fernando Lima are in town and in order to take full advantage of their visit, Bailonga is hosting a 3-hour all traditional dance this Wednesday, with them as our special guests! There will be refreshments and you are invited to bring a finger food to share with everyone. Around 8:00PM, Olivia & Fernando will be giving us the honor of a dance performance.
There will be no lessons, but we will have a beginner instructor on hand in case of any newcomers. The cost for the evening will be a flat $10.
Olivia and Fernando are Brazilian tango artists, choreographers, teachers and directors with a thirty-year career that claims several esteemed titles and awards. They currently live, teach and perform in Buenos Aires. They are founders of the EsTudo Tango method, producers of the EsTudo Tango International Congress in Buenos Aires and co-authors of the book “Themes of Argentine Tango - Argentina and Brazil.” You can find many of their acclaimed courses online under the names “Estudo Tango.” They are some of our favorite guests so we're so excited to have them back!

Reminders:
-Masking is not required but encouraged, and there will always be masks and hand sanitizer available at the front desk.
-Due to recent thefts at the Vet's Club and in the parking lot, it's recommended that you keep your valuables close by. You're welcome to store them by the stage or behind the divider for extra security.
-No street shoes, please ~ they can damage the floor. Please bring clean non-marking footwear such as dance shoes or sneakers. Thanks!
-A 30-minute desk shift gets you in for free! First come first served to sign up for shifts, but there are virtually always open slots available.
-Please avoid fragrances/perfumes. Some of us are allergic. Thank you!
