✨TONIGHT! ✨ Milonga de Corvallis at C3 💞

Dear Friends,  🎶

The end of May is here, and it went by oh so fast. 🍃

This month has brought for me many days of cherished connections and memories, decision making, and re-framing and recalibration. I am tired, but also content, and grateful. 

Our dance community has become an integral part of my life here in Corvallis, and I feel truly fortunate to be able to share dancing and lively gatherings with all of you. Tango is beautiful in its wholeness and complexity. When we dive into the art form, we dive into the integrity of our bodies, our expression, and all our inner complexities. I believe that if you are reading through this email you also feel this richness of experience in the dance and the relationships we develop in this scene. The exploration continues and becomes better and better, so I truly hope this dance remains with you for as long as possible.

Our Tuesday evening Milongas in Corvallis have now been running for over 3 years. They are only possible through the support of volunteers and community members who have taken the time to make them beautiful and welcoming in every way. I am so grateful to all of you who contribute towards these events. 

During this upcoming Summer season, I am spending some time reconsidering what to offer our growing Tango community, and therefore our Tango events and classes might change schedule in the Fall. 

 ✨ As it stands, our May Milonga tonight, and our June Milonga on June 24th (with DJ Rafael!), are the last two milongas scheduled at the Corvallis Community Center. ✨

I hope you will be able to join us either tonight or in June to dance Tango together in Corvallis, and celebrate with us 3 years of dancing and learning in community. 🙏

Plans for the Fall are still in-process, so if you are interested in more classes and prácticas, please take a moment to fill out this form. It will be helpful for me moving forward.

Our Milonga de Corvallis runs this evening, May 27 at the Corvallis Community Center. We have a fundamentals lesson at 6:30 PM, and music and dancing begins at 7:30 PM. I am excited to play the music for you tonight.
