Erik O'Banion, a passionate social dancer, began his tango dancing journey in Eugene Oregon in 2003. He was soon introduced to alternative tango after moving to Portland and that's been his passion ever since. In 2015, Erik launched his DJing career with a monthly alternative music event at the Velocult Bike Bar. He has since DJ'd at various events, including traditional and alternative tango gatherings, and most recently at the Portland Valentango Festival in 2024.
