Hello all,
Next coming weekend will be full of tango activities in our community, featuring two days of new discoveries and ways to interpret the music of tango, Vals and milonga. We are excited to host a true expert in the field who will help enrich our knowledge and open new possibilities with rhythm and melody.
Please find the workshop descriptions attached, or scan the QR. There is also availability for private one-on-one if you are interested, inquire by email or tomorrow at la milonguita. Cost is $100.00 per hour.
- Tomorrow Sunday March 29, we will have our usual classes, with Clarence at the DJ table.
Peter a tanguero from Bend wrote:
…I started dancing tango many years ago, as a non-musician. It took me a long time to even perceive the rhythm and dance to the basic 4/4 count. I discovered Mr. Amenabar's book after a few years and I was fascinated by his explanations and demonstrations of the different rhythm patterns, particularly milonga. I am really looking forward to experiencing his teaching in person, as my own untutored attempts to implement these movements have had limited success.Best wishes,
Peter
