Would anyone like to take the lead in investigating the possibility of an SQL Saturday in Eugene? Perhaps 2019?
The Portland SQL Saturday Planning Team is having a Virtual meeting June 24th @7pm, and I would like someone from our group to attend, and potentially ask questions, but mostly to get an understanding of what it will take, and what kind of resources they tap into. No further commitment required. I know it's a ways out, so I'll send reminders as we get closer.
Can someone do that for me, and report back?
Dan,
Unfortunately I can’t do Sunday June 24th.

I haven't heard from anyone else on this. Anyone? Josh? Ms Block? Dan B?

It seems we need to get regular group attendance over 10 people before we put on an SQL Saturday, I don't want to put through a whole program with 2 or more tracks, and only have 10-12 people show up. Even double the attendance for an 'event' seems paltry. Perhaps I'm wrong.
Anything you can do to boost regular attendance would be great!
