Teach conversational English at an elementary school, kindergarten or training school in an historic area near Shanghai.
Work as a conversational English teacher in Wuxi, China in an elementary school, kindergarten, or language training school. Interns are encouraged to tailor the internship to their interests and may teach at a combination of these three private schools. Stipend and room and board are provided with homestay or apartment housing possible. Additionally, at least 30% of your international airfare will be reimbursed upon completion of the internship. One term internships are possible. Mandarin lessons provided for those interested in studying.
Language Requirement: English, mandarin helpful

CHINA: The Schoolhouse at Mutianyu
Support a sustainable tourism enterprise that offers dining, lodging, and meeting solutions in unique settings just an hour from downtown Beijing at the base of the Great Wall.
The Schoolhouse at Mutianyu has a variety of challenging internship positions available: Sustainable Foods Program Intern, Business Development and Event Management Intern, Sustainable Accounting Intern, and Senior Sales and Customer Relations Intern. Interns will be given an opportunity to contribute based on their skills and interests while learning about the operations involved in running an eco-tourism business. Room and board, a monthly stipend, and a night per week in Beijing is provided!
Language Requirement: Some Mandarin required for some of the positions.

CHINA: Sea Turtles 911
Support Sea Turtles 911, a non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of endangered sea turtles on Hainan Island, China, in a variety of roles from aquaculture to online marketing.
Sea Turtles 911 is a non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of sea turtles on Hainan Island, China. Sea turtles face a host of obstacles diminishing their rate of survival including: fishing, ingestion of plastic debris, and habitat loss. Sea Turtles 911 is actively working to alleviate the pressures that threaten sea turtles in China through rescues, reporting, research, rehabilitation and release. Interns will receive training and assist in the following program areas depending on interest and skill set: Sea turtle rehabilitation, aquaculture, ecotourism, public awareness, web site management, online marketing and sales.
Language requirement: English, but Mandarin is useful. Mandarin lessons available for those interested.
