Etsy Convos - Beware

I just received 2 of these convos on Etsy. Interesting how blatant
they are in asking for all your information! I really can't believe
that anyone would be so gullible to provide it :(

I have a client that just place a look on your item and i am
interested in immediate purchase of this item,but before i proceed on
this transaction i will like to ask some question as follow.
1.Do you accept a ( Certified Check ) as a mode of payment.
2.What is the final asking price .
3.Will you let our shipping company to come to you house for the pick
up of the item cos we don't want you to worry yourself about the
shipping of the item.
4, Do you have more pictures of this item .....if yes send them to me.
5.You are to send your NAME,ADDRESS,TEL # to mail out the payment.
6.Will you be able to send the excess fund back to the shipping
company via western union money transfer same day you receive and cash
the check for the arrangement of the home pick up from your house down
to my client"

I guess they're attacking on Etsy now too! I received a very similar
email about a year ago when I had an item for sale on Craigs list. The
spelling alone is enough to set out a big red flag but then asking for
info like that! I agree with you Pam - who could be so gullible?!!

I got one of these before Christmas on Craigslist. I don't think my item
had been listed an hour before I got the letter. The spelling wasn't as
bad, but same thing.
