We've on average had 4 players make it out to the club each week since our latest push to bring more activity to the Eugene go scene in August (ranging in strength from 20k to 5d). Some of the members that were only able to make it out once or twice said one of the reasons they weren't able to make it out more often was the week day meet up time. After a discussion with the members at the Wednesday meetup and with those that haven't been able to make the meet up we've decided to switch the Go club from Wednesday to Sunday at noon. We are also looking for ideas on how to spread the word about the Go club and are looking into teaching Go at the Asian Celebration in February.

There will be no Go club November 26th and December 24th/31st because of the Holidays.

Awesome! I don’t use facebook, so thank you for the additional email to the group list. I saw this just now, so didn’t make it today, but Sunday’s will usually work for me, so I’ll plan on attending as often as I can.  I’m away next weekend, but looking forward to being part of this again! See ya’ll in December.

Best,

I see that our club information is very out of date. Could someone contact usgo to get  it updated. Since it’s a new day and time, it’s a good time to do it. Plus, if Im not mistaken, our club is a merger or both Eugene and U of O Clubs, so t U of O club could be removed altogether.

Here is the site: http://www.usgo.org/where-play-go

Thanks,

Eric

I contacted the person in charge of getting that information changed but his reply was... odd. So I'm attempting again and hopefully it will be changed soon.
