New day and time for the Go club

Hey everyone.  A few of us have been meeting regularly for the past couple months, but we no there are more of you that haven't been to the meeting in quite some time.  In an effort to get more people out each week, we've discussed meeting at a different time.  Starting tomorrow, we'll be meeting every Sunday at Funagain Games at 12PM. 

For everyone with a Facebook account, there is also a Facebook group with polls, and various other updates, so be sure to check that out.

If you want to receive a weekly reminder (possibly including hand-drawn comics or other bonuses), please let me know and I'll add you to the list.

Hello Marco,

A couple of the regular members ended up not being able to make it out yesterday to the club so it might have been pretty sparse that day. Sorry about that and hopefully you found an opponent. Usually there is at minimum three players each week. Next weekend meetup is canceled due to thanksgiving weekend but the club will resume on December 3rd for three weeks until it goes on a two week break on December 24th and 31st for the holidays. If you can't wait that long, feel free to make a post on this group or our Facebook group asking if anyone wants to meet up before then and you'll probably get someone that's willing to battle it out over the board.

Oh, thank you. I didn’t see anyone there so I went home but hopefully Ill get there next time. Are the meetings usually just individual games or are there teaching games/lectures?

I trued attending several years ago also but the group was very obsolete then, and I was hoping it was making a come back.
