when you home school you not only take him away from the street wise
knowledge that he will need when he gets older but you will also take
away any kind of confidance that he might have gained by being around
many kids during a 7 hour school day. Im truly against and I have seen
results such as the kids that always got made fun of and beat up. Let
your child make his own choice let him go to school at least one day and
see if he likes it and enjoys it better than homeschooling Believe me
if you were a geek in high school doesnt mean your child has to follow
your footsteps.

Hello Cat Woman,

I like the name. I am a Batman fan.

I do have to disagree with you on your post about "making your child into a
loser". I am a junior in high school. I chose to be home educated and have
been very please with it. When I was in Public school I was a "loser" and a
geek, I was also ver shy. Now I am not shy at all and have shed the
"geek".

I believe home education is a good choice for some people, but certainly
not for everyone. If you do some research you will find that many high
achieving and famous people educated themselves or were home educated.
