[HSList] Cathy Duffy workshop

Hi,
Did anyone on the list attend the Cathy Duffy workshop last
Saturday? I'd be interested in what you thought.
We had about 120 people attend, which is good attendance for a LIGHT
meeting. About 20 people came for just half the day. We had people from
Medford, Bend, Redmond, Kaizer, Milwaukie, and Portland, as well as Lane County.
I enjoyed her sense of humor, and her stress on setting long-term
goals. I didn't agree with everything she said, but then I never agree
totally with anyone! I was glad I was able to hear her.
I think one of the things I enjoyed most was the "all-day-ness" of
it. It was fun to have a bunch of us eating lunch together and have a
chance to talk. We had more vendors than usual, and that seemed to generate
more energy.
