We have recently decided to homeschool our children yet our decision was
not based on how "bad" public schools were.
Our children have had a basically good experience with public schools.
As our children got older we began to see traits in them that were
undesirable and wasn't sure how to correct it. How do you teach your
children positive charector traits when you only have them 3-4 hours
daily.
We kept asking ourselves "How can we teach our children to be
compassionate?
Loving? Helpful? Generous? The best way to teach is by example yet there
again we were apart from them most of the time. Anyway that's how our
decision came about. We haven't started yet but are very excited about
prospect. If anyone out there has any ideas or suggestions for us
please respond. Thank You, Janet
