Being a student, myself, it gets pretty hard to teach my daughter, but I
try very hard.I let her go at her own pace and change the requirements to
keep her attention focussed. 5th grade is the year to learn about states
and capitals.

I don't agree myself. Being against memorizing information. But it is a
state requirement, so we do it anyway. She is researching the states and
printing everything she can find on WWW or in our 2 CD-rom encyclopedias.
