Department of Defense Schools; what a farce!

Hi Rich,

This was very similar to our experience in Washinton state...think it is
the malady of public school nation wide these days. You have several
options. If you are Christian and want a strong a cirriculum that
reflects this there are many publishers and programs out there.
You might check out Abeka Book, Bob Jones University Press,
Covenant Home Cirriculum, to name a few. A secular program
that has academic strength is Calvert School correspondance.
It suffers a bit from the evolutionary view of science and history
in certain spots, but at least is a more traditional type cirriculum.
You will find that homeschoolers come in many types as well;
there are very conservative types and the tree hugger vegetarian
variety, just like in real life. Good luck and if you have questions
