Join us on Sat., August 16th for CULTIVATING CONNECTIONS: A Homeschooling
Conference, sponsored by the Oregon Home Education Network. 8AM - 5PM in
Portland, Oregon.

This conference will feature keynote speaker Mary Griffith (author of The
Homeschooling Handbook), Janie Levine Hellyer (Family Learning Exchange),
Donna Nichols -White (The Drinking Gourd Magazine), and author Ann Lahrson
(Homeschooling in Oregon).

More than 25 workshops and panel discussions, including: ABC's of
Homeschooling, Homeschooling the Older Student, Learning on the Internet,
Preparing for College, Learning Styles, and Homeschooling Special Needs
Children. There will be an extensive vendor area with products and services
helpful to homeschoolers, a Hobbies & Collections Show for kids and some
children's activities sessions (limited enrollment). Whether you are just
getting started or a veteran homeschooler, there will be something of
interest to you!!
