You can either post to the newsgroup (eug.education.homeschooling)
or e-mail to homes...@efn.org. Either way your message will get posted on
the newsgroup and sent to me for approval for the mailing list. I approve
it, and then it goes out to everyone subscribed to the mailing list.
I was off-line this week, so that might have slowed up your messages.
I approve everything except what I consider junk mail. If something
personal came through that I felt was objectionable and unrelated to
homeschooling, I would probably write back to the person and explain why I
wouldn't approve it. But that hasn't happened. All the inappropriate stuff
has been mass mailings and I have no qualms about deleting them. In fact I
enjoy it!
If you are on the mailing list and you post to the list, you won't
receive a copy of your post (I think). But everyone else will get it.

If you send a message by either of these ways, you may receive an
internet "bounce" message. This will have some kind of subject heading like
"Undeliverable: User Unknown" or "Cannot Deliver Message" or some other
variation. The message itself will have a lot of technobabble that looks
like your message didn't get to anyone.
But it did get to most people, it just didn't get to a few. I get
those same "bounce" messages, and I (with my vast authority) can unsubscribe
people from the list if I get repeated bounces from them. So you can just
ignore the bounces.

If you are reading this on the newsgroup and would like to be on the
mailing list, send an e-mail to:

majo...@efn.org

The subject area doesn't matter, but in the text of the message put:

subscribe homeschool

You should receive a "Welcome to Homeschool" message back explaining
the list and giving you instructions for unsubscribing.
