Hello all
Sorry to be using your email addresses again but thought this was worth flagging up.
Zoe - Hearty Squirrel's lovely official secretary (though not in practice involved in activities at the moment, which is fine of course!) got a call about someone called Chris Ray who is writing an article on student run coops and wanted to chat to someone. I don't know much about coops myself but thought there might be an opportunity to promote the food hub idea (not sure if this is student or other newspaper but either one could help put pressure on EUSA/Uni and more importantly, potential elected Sabs) and also, that on this list might be a few coop-fans with other student coop stories to tell - i.e. harlequin
Zoe has his number so either ask her or get in touch with me and I can pass on the number.
Cheers
Esmi

Date: Sat, 5 Feb 2011 09:05:11 +0000
Hello lads and lasses
Hope food hub stuff is going well - sorry I have bowed out of it for now.
I have been checking the email account for Hearty Squirrel and we quite regularly get emails from people asking for more info about it.
My general response is to say HS is hibernating for now but the food hub is really exciting stuff which is happening at the moment.
But I don't know what's the best contact email to give for people to find out more - is there a specific contact? I'm afraid I don't want to take it on as Hearty Squirrel as I'm not tuned in to what's going on.
If someone else wants the HS email address [
info...@gmail.com] to be the contact, and is willing to check it regularly that would be absolutely fab and I'd happily pass on the details if you don't know them already.
If not, is anyone willing to be the person people are passed on to for more information? It's usually only about one or two emails per month anyway.
Cheers :)
