Hellos all! I logged in briefly to change my membership settings on the group and spotted this email, was wondering if anyone knew about it/has done something/could do something?

Sorry for being a busy body from afar...in not too long i'll be back though :) ...but it seems like a really cool thing and a great opportunity for eucs and hearty squirrel.

All my bestest,

Devin

Hello

My name is Michele Wisdahl and I'm a Research Assistant in the Office of the Vice Principal for Public Engagement.  I'm currently working on creating a new student website called OurEd that's aimed at social responsibility & sustainability.  By that I mean, we want to get students inspired and engaged locally and globally in health, environment, development, and social justice.  We are looking for students, societies, researchers, etc. to spotlight on our website.  The Co-Op Society (particularly the Hearty Squirrel) seems exactly the type of student endeavour we'd like to highlight.  I'm wondering if there is anybody who might still be in Edinburgh and available for a brief chat.  If not, perhaps I could send you some more information via email and plan to have a chat in autumn.

Thanks!

Michele Wisdahl

I replied and offered to meet her. In other news, does anyone know where the shop keys are hiding?

Are they not still in lucy's flat? She sent an email a wee while back saying she was going to london, and if people needed them they're in her room or something...but i don't know if anyone collected them since.

I think Lucy mentioned something about having keys in her flat before she left but I don't know any more than that.

Thanks for getting in touch with Michelle, Liam. She'd probably be interested to hear about dirty weekenders too :)

Yo dude,
That all sounds great, thanks for being on it...I think it would be a
good thing, the website malarky, so I reckon fill out the form. I'm
looking forward to getting back on the recipe book when i get back. It
was in the process of being created as a shared fair trade cafe/coop
recipe book. at the moment it's all written out and in the possession
of some graphic designy studenty types. will keep you updated. also
the keys were most definately in my flat (hannah rastalls room, to be
precise) when i left, don't think anyone has picked them up from the
sounds of it so should still be there...
am muy excited about getting back and putting more time into the coop again.
love to you all, lucy
ps spanish hippies, it would seem, are very cool

Guys, just thought I'd get the chat rolling about hearty squirrel next
year. I'm guessing we're gonna want to get as many people along to a
meeting as possible to chat everything out. shall we try pick a date
to gather, maybe early Sept, so that we can start reminding people
about in an annoying and repetitive fashion?
Hope everyone is well, if you're walking past the giant cow on bristo
sq come say hi.
Lucy
