Thanks for the feedback; it is always appreciated.

I'll add this to the website when I have a chance. Many thanks for
putting it together and making it available.

I really have no idea what would be causing that. But I'd talk to the
aterm devs. Have you seen it in any other WMs?

This is by design to let the user know that the stack is visible but
empty. It is meant to save you time if you think something might be in
the stack (when in fact the stack is empty) and then try to show an
empty stack.

1) file a bug report with the maintainer of the app complaining that
it assumes a certain window size. Clients are *supposed* to work with
whatever space and position they are given.
2) Put such dialog boxes in fullscreen, it's a really quick key combo.
If things are still hidden in fs there is nothing the WM can do. : P

The only program (I use with any frequency) That causes serious
problems on this front is Open/Libre Office. Anytime the cursor enters
a list or table, it wants to pop up a toolbox window which is very
very very frustrating in a tiling WM. Fortunately there is an option
somewhere to have this box dock as a menu which keeps me from getting
a focus-stealing window every time I scroll through a list.

Thanks again.

Cheers,
WMD
