WMD,

I am a moderator over at the PCLinuxOS forums, I have also been
responsible for a couple of remasters of PCLinuxOS - first was a WMii
edition, and more recently PCLinuxOS-Light

I am strongly considering using eucid-wm as one of the window managers
in the next release of -Light in preference to WMii (which is a great
WM that I have up to now been using personally for some time

I especially like that you use plaintext configs, and hope this to
continue

I am currenly tring to figure out the usage of the reserved area with
panels (as an option for the more traditional user who wants to try a
tiling wm)

There are a couple of other projects I want to include within -Light
but I should have a release out soon should you be interested in a try
(with euclid in place)

thanks again for this wonderful WM

Great! That would be really exciting.

Yes, I am a big fan of straight-forward config files. I can't imagine what would bring me to change that.

Let me know if you have any trouble. If the panel sets OverrideRedirect it should work fine. If it relies entirely on EWMH atoms it probably won't.

Keep me informed, I'd like to see how it turns out and give it a try.

If there is something I can do to help with your integration efforts, just let me know. My time is limited, but I'll do what I can.
Of course if you run into bugs in the process please report.

Best,
WMD
