A survey has been created to gather information about when and where
people would like the conference to be held.

A few of us thought it would be a good idea if everyone who is
involved with this project posted the survey on their blogs on a
specific day to generate a bit of interest in the event and gather
information from lots of blog readers.

We're hoping you might all be able to post a link to the survey this
Saturday (although I realise I've left this message a bit late so any
time over the weekend would be fantastic).

The direct link to the survey is:

http://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?hl=en&formkey=dGM3eFhXaXZSRDR1S1JrVlJIODMyV0E6MQ#gid=0

or to embed the survey into your blog post use this code (just remove
the asterix at after the first bracket to make it work):

<iframe src="http://spreadsheets.google.com/embeddedform?
formkey=dGM3eFhXaXZSRDR1S1JrVlJIODMyV0E6MQ" width="760" height="1502"
frameborder="0" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0">Loading...</iframe>

Thanks.

Well my post is up and judging by my visitor stats already this morning, we should be getting a fair fit of decent feedback.

Ooo 47 replies so far. Seemes like London and Manchester might be the
top runners for location.

Hooray!

Ironically I voted for London, as I thought it might be more
convenient in terms of accommodation, etc. :P

Is there any info yet on when people would prefer the event? What are
peoples thoughts so far? Do you think we could get enough interest to
push this thing forward? Is it worth contacting publishers etc yet to
see if they would be up for it?

Just having a quick look through the document (I'll let all those who
replied to this thread administer the doc so you can see the results)
April - June and July - Sept seem to be most popular. Need to get on
with beging to compile the data.

We have 50 repsonses so far, what do you think 100 needed to make it
something we progress with? That would make for a reasonably sized
event. Keep spreading the word :)
