This seminar will focus on ways to meet academic and IEP goals while
improving the language skills of students using AAC. Participants will
learn a variety of strategies to teach core vocabulary and promote the
use of an augmentative communication system. Participants will learn
ways to increase student participation without adding content
vocabulary to the device.
The seminar is not limited to people using PRC devices. The teaching
strategies presented are appropriate for a wide variety of devices and
programs.
This seminar is appropriate for anyone (teacher, SLP, parent,
paraprofessional, etc.) working with a student using a communication
device.
Participants do not need to bring an AAC device or laptop computer to
this seminar.

register the day of the seminar. Make checks payable to Signal
