I ran across this link from Etsy ! So exciting to hear that everymonth
they give grants to qualified street teams !
Although our group has been on a standstill, this is probably
something we should apply for in the future !!
Just think of all the publicity and success we will get out of this !!

Etsy Team Grant Program
Etsy Team Grants assist creative, dedicated and energetic Teams with
financial resources. This monthly granted funding is dedicated to help
subsidize Team advertising (see the Cooperative Advertising Program
for a good model of this), take part in events and promotions, or can
be used for a meeting stipend (read: SNACKS!). We want to help Teams
meet, promote and share the Etsy love, so if you come up with another
exciting way to do so, feel free to apply!

How to Apply: Elect one person from your Etsy Team to be the leader of
this project and have them apply on the Team's behalf, by filling out
this form.

When to Apply: The sooner the better! Etsy Team Grants are reviewed
every month on the 15th, and are awarded on the 1st of the following
month. Your Team may apply once a month.

Q: Does the Team member who applies for the grant have to be the Team
leader?

A: This person does not have to be the Team leader, but will be the
single point person for communication between Etsy and your Team for
this grant process.

Q: Are Etsy Team Grants just for location based Teams?

A: No way! Any Etsy Team has access to the Etsy Team Grant program. We
encourage ALL Teams to think of ways to promote and support their Team
with funding.

Q: How many times can a Team receive an Etsy Team Grant?

A: We are not putting a limit on the number of grants per Team. Please
note that you may apply for a Etsy Team Grant once a month, and you
can be awarded a grant as many times as we see fit.

Q: What can we use the grant money for?

A: Grants can be used toward projects that promote or support your
Etsy Team and Etsy, such as advertisements in publications, fees for
table spaces at existing events, or other creative ways to promote or
support Etsy and your Team.

Q: How do you decide who gets a grant?

A: We have a set budget to award to Etsy Teams via Etsy Team Grants
each month. We will make decisions based on the quality of the
application, the activity level of your Etsy Team, the impact the
funding will have on promoting and aiding your Team and the overall
benefits to Etsy.com. We're also taking note of the way you will
document your Etsy Team Grant. Will you create a video, Flickr page,
blog, etc? Will you document the effects the grant will have on the
visibility of your Team?
