Listing renewal error

Is there anyone describe the following error and provide solution for the same ?

Error - "listing inventory is not backwards compatible, cannot manually set price or quantity"

This is the error I am getting during listing renewal on Etsy using "updateListing" method of Etsy Listing API. Explore API Here .
