For those of us that do not have production access, how are we to test code we've been working on that requires Authentication?  Code that worked before now produces this:

Sorry, you do not have access to this application.

This application has limited access, and the user you are logged in as does not have access to this application. If the error persists, you should contact the application's original author.

http://www.etsy.com/developers/documentation/getting_started/oauth says to use the production endpoint for Oauth even when you intend to use the Sandbox, but with the sandbox going away, will the "Limited Access" status also be going away for those of us that are in "beta" (or more like alpha in my case).  What do we do in the interim?

There is nothing wrong with your code still, this is a data issue. By default, provisional keys have access to the user who created the application. By request, we can also provide access to a handful of other test users for your application. Please email us ( at devel...@etsy.com ) the user IDs that you are trying to authenticate with and we will get the access set up.

Thanks,
Matt

Matt -

I'd also like to use an existing account to do some testing.  The email address I need to send the account to gain access isn't completely visible in this post.  Can you reply with the email address I should send the account ID to gain access?

Regards,

Damian

Hi Damian,
Email us at deve...@etsy.com with the API key for your application and the Etsy username that you would like to use for testing that application.

Btw, this is only for testing applications that have not been approved yet or don't need approval.

Thanks,
Matt
