Hi all,
I am a ETSY seller and I applied for API because I have thousands items to sell and it it not possible to upload its manually.
But my application was denied because of "circumvent payment process". But I do not understand why and explanation didn't come.
I have my own e-shop on my own website and only what I want is to transfer products FROM e-shop TO my Etsy booth page. I do not know where is circumvention of Etsy payment process.
Is a problem to sell on my own e-shop when selling on Etsy too? Or what could be a problem to get API approval?
Could anyone help or explain?

I have contacted with etsy developer team this is what they replied to me:

At this time Etsy isn't providing new API keys or approving full access requests in the multichannel inventory and order management category as we re-evaluate our offering. For this reason, we are unable to approve your app. Although other apps with similar feature sets do currently exist, we are not approving any new apps in this area for now.

We are currently evaluating how we would like to support our API, and the apps that rely on our Open API. For now there are no exceptions to the rule, but things may change in the future.

Hello, I encountered that "circumvent payment process" when I applied for ETSY API for the first time. When you apply for the API for the first time, you're actually applying for "Personal Access" once you get approved you can apply for "Full Access" but for now just think about personal access since getting full access is a very long process. To get approved easily you can remove buy or order options in your own e-shop because you can't use that anyway since "Personal Access" API can't process orders. To make it simple I make a Site that display our ETSY Products and redirects the visitor to our ETSY store to process the order.

This is devastating news for pretty much most of us... I have a "personal" app using the V2 API which I am converting to V3 API. I was planning on making it a public app so others could benefit from it as well. But it is for order management and inventory management! So, guess I won't be doing that now.

You know, I am pretty new here, so I have no idea if you are Etsy sellers or app developers.
Could you recommend me app for bulk uploading products to Etsy with update possibilities? Maybe build on API v. 3?
